Columbia-Adair Chamber Awards Banquet

The Columbia-Adair Chamber of Commerce will be holding their
annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday May 16, at 6:00 at the Cramner
Dining Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Tickets for
this years banquet are $20 and are available from the Chamber of
Commerce 210 Burkesville St. This years speaker is Kristen Branscum,
Comissioner of the Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism and a
native of Russell County. Them banquet will also feature music by local
singer Maggie Coleman. For more information contact the Chamber of

you need by Friday, May 12th.

Trinity Baccalaureate Service

The ACHS Class of 2017 Baccalaureate Service will be held
Sunday, May 21st , at 6:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist
Church. Graduates are asked to arrive at 5:30 p.m. with cap and
gown. Sponsored by the Adair County Ministerial Association.

Project Graduation Planning meeting

There will be a planning meeting for Project Graduation 2017
on Wednesday, May 10, at 3:30 pm at the Adair County Public
Library. Anyone interested in helping with this awesome event
is invited to attend.

Chrome book training for parents at ACMS has been cancelled.
It will be rescheduled for next Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 3:15-4:15

DOGS TAGS

Adair County, it’s time to renew dog licenses for 2017

Tags are available starting June 1 at the following locations:

  • Adair County Clerk’s Office, 424 Public Square

  • Green River Animal Shelter, Jim Blair Road

  • Participating veterinary facilities locally and in surrounding counties

Tags are $ 10 for single dog and $25 for kennel licenses

Please have the following information available when purchasing your tags:

Name of owner, address, telephone, breed, sex, age, markings, and name of dog.
