Blood Drive

The Kentucky Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive on October 3rd from noon to 5pm at the Columbia Church of Christ at 501 Jamestown Street in Columbia. Blood donors must be 17 years old or 16 years old with parent consent, weight atleast 110 pounds, be in general good health, show photo I.D. and meet additional requirements.

Crusun' For A Dream Car Show

Crusin' For A Dream Car Show, open to all makes and models, will be held
Saturday September 9th at the Cave City Convention Center on 502 Mammoth
Cave Street. Registration will take place from 9am-12pm with trophies at 3pm.
There will be over 50 trophies, door prizes, food and refreshments, 50/50 drawing,
silent auction, and a country ham raffle. All proceeds go to benifit the

Knifley 5k At The 4-way

The Knifley 5k at the 4-way will be taking place at 8am CST Saturday,
September 9th at the Cross Roads (Patterson Bait and Grocery) in Knifley.
Early registration is $15 if received by September 1st, $20 after the first
and up to the start of the event. All participants will recieve a shirt and medal.
There will also be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medal as well as door prizes.
Registration forms can be picked up at Patterson Bait and Grocery,
Bakers Grocery, The Holloway Health and Welness Center at Lindsey Wilson College.

Jimmy Fortune

Jimmy Fortune formely of the Dtatler Brothers, High Road and the
Sneed Family will be singing at the Cave City Convention Center on

Country Breakfeast

Hiseville Christian Church will be having a country breakfeast, Saturday
September 2nd from 7am-10:30 at the church. The breakfeast will consist
of country ham, sausage, bacon, gravy, biscuts, eggs, hash-browns, sliced
tomatoes, coffee, milk, juice, and enough red-eyed gravy to float a bass boat.
All proceeds will benifit The Galilean Children's Home. For more information call
